FANS AND BLOWER SERVICE

Different processing systems and environments require a variety of blowers and fans in a range of sizes. We repair an assortment of these devices every day.

Common problems with air-moving equipment can be caused by bad bearings, misalignment, electrical problems, blade wear, mechanical looseness, contamination, and base structures. We typically perform the following activities when treating a problem with your fan or blower:

R

Clean, inspect, and qualify the rotating element.

R

Check the total indicated run out of the shaft

R

Inspect the bearings and housings.

R

Inspect and evaluate the drive, whether it is direct-coupled, belt driven, or shaft mounted.

R

Perform vibration analysis

R

Correct any condition related to the fan, blower, or prime mover, including the base mounting structure

AIR COMPRESSORS

It is important to regularly service your air compressor. Routine maintenance is crucial to keep your compressor operating at peak performance. Inadequate maintenance will greatly reduce the useful life of your compressor. We service your compressor either on-site or at our repair facility, typically performing the following maintenance activities:

R

Lubrication renewal

R

Air Filtration

R

Unloader valve adjustment

R

Hydrostatic tank testing

PUMP REPAIRS

When you bring a pump unit into our shop for repairs, we do a thorough evaluation of the pump to determine the issue and whether repairing or replacing makes the most sense. We first disassemble the unit, then sandblast it, measure all tolerances, and provide you with a comprehensive quote on the repair. When possible, we will offer a quote for a new pump as well, so you can compare prices and make an informed decision on your best course of action.
